For instance, if you want an indeterminate variety with large, yellow fruits that matures late in the season, select those criteria and — bam! — the app lists exactly what you’re looking for.

Many varieties even include quotes by five tomato-book authors, and you can sort by which varieties have exceptional flavor, according to these tomato experts. Click on any tomato you’re interested in to see its photo and full profile, which even includes details about any known history of old heirloom varieties.
